Hi and welcome!

This website has been intentionally designed for a 1024x768 viewing experience, in accordance with classic web standards of the early 2000s.

It is both a personal space for me and an exercise in maintaining compatibility with legacy systems and older computing environments. If you are visiting with a retro computer, then you are doubly welcome to one of the last corners of the old web!

Who am I?

My name is Mark, I'm aged 38 and based in Sweden. I have a strong passion for computer technology and games, and spent much of my youth experimenting with 2D/3D graphics, modding, and hobby game development. From 2021 to 2024 i studied Game development at the University of Skövde and I am currently studying computer science with specialization in systems development.

On this website you will find articles, image galleries and news feeds that cover a wide variety of subjects, from old game mods and artwork from my youth, to current game projects, programming solutions, retro computing and more. So pull up a chair, and explore this mysterious place where past and present, fun and professionalism, all converge into a singularity of creative chaos!

I'm testing the refactor of the news feed, so here's a cat on a computer for your trouble! :)

Hello! This is the first post on the new news feed! It's been a wild road the past few years, filled with excitement and tragedy.

Death and sickness in the family has taken its toll and when I last posted an update I had just enrolled in a bachelors programme for game development. I did my 3 years and after that I moved on to taking on another 3 years studying computer science with a focus on systems development.

I just came off an 8 week long software engineering project, which has finally given me the motivation and skills to get around to properly updating the website! Visually the site is going to stay the same, but under the hood there is going to be a lot of refactoring going on and updating old parts. And naturally I'm also going to be expanding it and filling it with all the exciting projects I've been working on over the past 5 years, so stay tuned!
